[A]ll really interesting people – sportsman, explorers, musicians, scientists, vagabonds and writers – [are] vitally interested in good things to eat and drink; [care] for exotic and intriguing ways of composing them. […T]his keen interest [is] not solely through gluttony, the spur of hunger or merely to sustain life, but in a spirit of high adventure.

Here at S&N we are slowly building a collection of beverage recipes. So far, we have but a few of the more involved concoctions, listed below. But, over time, we expect to grow this list and begin to categorize it so that it may stand as somewhat of a ‘Gentleman’s Companion’ (or Gentlewoman’s) for libation.
I’m a bit sad, but that’s all we have so far. I blame it on the fact that when we drink we’re more focused on mixing bevvies and lifting glasses rather than taking photographic evidence and recording recipes. One day we will start keeping a drinks scrapbook. Until then, for your summery drinks needs, HERE IS A GUIDE from the sometimes helpful NY Times. It will generate drinks based on what you have in your liquor cabinet too. Handy!
