Berries and Booze

“The fact is always obvious much too late, but the most singular difference between happiness and joy is that happiness is a solid and joy a liquid.” -J.D. Salinger.

My aunt prepared these drinks for us in the dead of winter and in front of the fireplace, where we sat and watched softly falling snow settle into the wooded ravine below, and as unlikely as it sounds, this vodka berry cocktail seemed as seasonal as hot buttered rum.

2 oz Pravda Vodka
1 oz of Triple Sec

Shake the liquor with ice.
Put a spoonful of berries into the glass, the contents of the shaker, and top up the glass with Fuze Shape.
